Albert Hernu was a London silver maker. The mark used was AH in a rounded rectangle. We have been unable to find much on this maker. There are some references to Sheffield items hallmarked with these initials but this could be spurious. Another entry below shows his initials on a silver spoon but the date the mark was registered contradicts the date the spoon was assayed.
